A manufacturer based out of the Des Moines area has partnered with the Harrison Group team of Manufacturing recruiters to help them bring on a Plant Engineer to their team. With nearly a century of experience serving a broad range of infrastructure-related markets, this organization has been the go-to team for innovative and lasting solutions.
This position will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions while managing major capital projects, designing, engineering, and implementing fixtures and tooling. They will also help troubleshoot machines, and work on Capex & Continuous improvement projects across the facility. They will also lead the training of personnel on process requirements and technical documentation.
Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Electro-mechanical engineering experience required
- Experience in Vision and robotics programming; AutoCAD; design, loading in structures; hydraulic pumps, cylinders, and motors
- Experience in a LEAN manufacturing organization preferred
