Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join their team in Des Moines, IA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, specifically in K-12 school projects. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- K-12 Project Expertise: Lead the construction of K-12 school projects, ensuring compliance with educational facility regulations and specific project requirements.
- Team Leadership: Manage project teams, including subcontractors and on-site personnel, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Budget and Scheduling: Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and resources, tracking progress and making necessary adjustments to ensure project success.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate issues, ensuring safety and minimizing project disruptions.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company standards for quality and safety.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience, with a focus on K-12 school projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
