The HGI team of Construction Recruiters are partnering with a Chicago-based Real Estate Development firm to help add a Senior Estimator to their pre-construction team. This position is targeted to promote to Chief Estimator within 2 years.
This position will be responsible for planning and developing conceptual estimates for both design-build projects as well as plan & spec projects in a variety of industries including industrial, commercial, medical, roads, and special projects.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a construction-related field or equivalent combination of related experience
- 10+ years of experience as a senior estimator, with an emphasis on a design-build projects
- Working knowledge of civil, architectural, and MEP&FP design
- Working knowledge of estimating for design-build and plan & spec projects, scoping subcontractor bids, and project scheduling
