Senior Executive Recruiter

The HGI team is actively seeking to bring a high-performing Recruiter to join our team. HGI has been a go-to name in executive search for over 45 years. We have strong networks across the country in the Construction, Manufacturing, and Financial Services spaces and are looking for an experienced recruiter to join our team and make an immediate impact in one of our markets.

This role requires existing relationships within one the HGI target markets, Commercial Construction, Manufacturing, or Financial Services that could be leveraged to bring in new business. An integral part of this role is relationship management – networking and building strong partnerships with senior executives (as potential candidates or clients) and assessing them against the client’s requirements.

The Position



Responsibilities

The role focuses on high-touch candidate relationship management as well as customer focus and responsiveness in client-facing activities.

They will:

  • Leverage existing relationships to open doors and bring in new business
  • Create and execute multi-channel strategies to source candidates that meet client profiles and/or build talent pools for current and future engagements
  • Conduct role briefing with clients and set expectations for the recruitment process
  • Follow the agreed client recruitment process for recruitment delivery
  • Use competency interviewing to identify and differentiate candidates in the presentation and short-list process
  • Candidate relationship management
  • Effectively communicate position opportunity and client value proposition

 

 

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Recruiting experience, with time spent Recruiting specifically in Commercial Construction, Manufacturing, or Financial Services
  • An undergraduate degree is required, an M.B.A. or other relevant graduate degree is a plus.
  • Identify market trends and research information effectively through various channels.
  • Able to analyze business information and organize multiple points and large amounts of data into concise targeted information summaries.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships to build an industry network.
  • Personal and business maturity that leads to confident and rational business decisions.
  • Can leverage the consultant in his/her search work and is comfortable and competent with client contact.
  • Ability to manage a demanding search load, balance multiple tasks, and switch gears while maintaining priorities.
  • Significant client-facing experience interacting with Hiring Managers
  • Experience conducting competency and behavioral-based interviews
  • Self-starter attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous team environment
