  • Analyze and assess all bid opportunities to ensure feasibility, reviewing bid calendar and scheduling bid reviews accordingly.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to fully understand project scopes.
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, and addendums accurately.
  • Utilize historical data on production rates, material pricing, and equipment use to inform bid estimates.
  • Compile and organize information to prepare accurate, detailed, and timely bids.
  • Conduct project takeoffs using Bluebeam software.
  • Evaluate project profitability and present bids to customers.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including Project Managers, Field Operations, and Customers, to support project handoff.
  • Provide exceptional client service, fostering positive relationships to encourage growth and repeat business.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Estimator, Project Manager, or Project Engineer in civil construction.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
