CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT

As a Construction Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in providing on-site supervision and coordination for all phases of data center construction projects. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent will work closely with estimating and project management teams in a collaborative environment to deliver projects as promised.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
  • Perform quality control duties to maintain project standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the project team regarding ASIs, RFIs, and Material Submittals.
  • Ensure subcontractors comply with contracted scope of work and quality standards.
  • Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions and address any non-compliance issues.
  • Identify and resolve conflicts in construction progress in collaboration with the project team.
  • Maintain a detailed daily log of activities on the jobsite.
  • Facilitate weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate work progress.
  • Ensure the jobsite is clean, organized, and complies with safety standards.
  • Conduct job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
  • Manage and oversee company staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and safety programs.
  • Identify and recruit top talent to support project objectives.
  • Support and promote a culture of diversity and inclusion within the organization.
  • Implement policies of non-discrimination and ensure proactive implementation throughout the organization.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial construction setting as a superintendent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management is a plus.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding plans, specifications, drawings, and project schedules is required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of project management and scheduling software preferred.
  • OSHA-10, OSHA-30, and First-Aid/CPR certifications are preferred, with OSHA-10 required within 30 days of employment.
