Responsibilities:

  • Manage the change management process under the guidance of the Project Manager.
  • Participate actively in monthly cost report meetings, providing insightful data and contributing to discussions.
  • Adhere to project controls procedures, including monthly cost control, pay requests, and cost reporting.
  • Expedite material deliveries efficiently.
  • Estimate and prepare accurate shop drawings.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, encouraging team members to explore new and creative problem-solving approaches.
  • Identify client needs, match them with opportunities, and effectively communicate the value proposition and differentiators of the Client to prospective clients.
  • Proactively assess customer feedback, foster a customer-centric mindset within teams, and demonstrate understanding of various market sectors and delivery systems to maintain positive customer relations.

Qualifications:

Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • 5+ years of experience with a construction manager or general contractor organization, working on projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million; experience in quality control is highly desirable.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven ability to establish specific, measurable, attainable performance goals and ensure accountability for their achievement.
  • Demonstrated capability to foster active team participation, build trust, and enhance positive interactions within teams.
  • Articulate financial acumen and awareness of customer satisfaction’s impact on the company’s profitability.
  • Ability to adapt communication style to suit diverse audiences and situations, including delivering effective presentations, writing clear and concise documents on complex topics, and demonstrating understanding through paraphrasing and relevant examples.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Familiarity with financial management principles.
  • OSHA 10-hour certification required; OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • Understanding of Contract Documents & Specifications.
  • Proficiency in Procore.
  • Expertise in CMiC preferred.
