Our manufacturing team is partnered with a leading metal fabricator and manufacturer to bring on an experienced Purchasing Manager to join their team northwest of Milwaukee, WI. As a key player in the organization’s supply chain, the Purchasing Manager will oversee the sourcing and purchase of raw materials and finished goods to ensure alignment with quality, delivery, cost, and inventory targets.
Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement team for optimal performance.
- Execute strategic supply agreements and ensure timely delivery.
- Evaluate suppliers and implement lean principles.
- Develop supply strategies aligned with goals.
- Conduct evaluations, facilitate growth, and resolve issues efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Extensive purchasing/procurement expertise.
- Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
- 5+ years in lean manufacturing purchasing.
- Strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills.
