Our client, a prominent construction firm based in Irvine, CA, is currently seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to bolster their team. In this pivotal role, the Senior Project Manager serves as the primary on-site representative, overseeing all administrative and technical facets of projects. This includes supervising Project Managers’ activities pertaining to contract administration, change orders, procurement, and project financials, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards while prioritizing safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct project financial analysis to ensure profitability and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Coordinate preconstruction activities to facilitate smooth project commencement.
- Develop and manage project schedules to optimize efficiency and meet deadlines.
- Oversee project administration, operations, and close-out procedures.
- Cultivate positive relationships with customers and the community, exceeding expectations and promoting repeat business.
- Foster a culture of positivity, leadership, and employee development within the team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven track record leading projects valued at $50 million or more; experience with DSA projects is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of fifteen years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Seven years of direct supervisory experience, demonstrating strong leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Constructware, P6, or Timberline.
- Experience with cost projection, financial analysis, and budget reviews.
- Familiarity with JD Edwards or similar construction applications.
