SVP, NATIONAL SALES DIRECTOR

As the Senior Vice President, National Sales Director, you will lead a team focused on driving sales and adoption of our client’s Business Solutions suite among financial advisors and institutions. We are seeking an executive with a growth mindset, adept at navigating ambiguity, and skilled in mobilizing teams to achieve accelerated success.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales, adoption, and top-line growth of our Business Solutions suite through strategic distribution channels.
  • Design and execute sales strategies to achieve ambitious results across key Business Solutions areas, including Comprehensive Advice, Wealth Management, End-Client Engagement, Growth Strategy, Business Operations & Technology, and Business Structure & Legacy.
  • Manage the sales funnel using data-driven approaches, from lead identification to commitment, close, and onboarding.
  • Execute key sales initiatives, campaigns, and referral programs.
  • Adapt team efforts based on market dynamics and evolving client needs.
  • Foster team leadership, transparency, and partnership, coaching team members to enhance sales acumen and client engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Business Development, Relationship Management, and Business Solutions delivery teams.
  • Act as a client-facing representative for Business Solutions, engaging in field activities, conferences, and executive-level engagements.
  • Contribute to go-to-market strategies and marketing efforts.
  • Design and refine incentive compensation plans to drive desired business outcomes.
  • Provide training and education to the team on industry trends, competitive landscape, and sales tactics.
  • Gather insights from sales activities to enhance client service and act as a “voice of the client” for internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10-15 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Extensive external field sales experience with a track record of executing proactive sales strategies.
  • Previous experience leading cross-functional teams and implementing strategic initiatives.
  • Strong talent management skills with experience in team leadership and development.
  • Understanding of incentive compensation design and sales goal setting.
  • Experience consulting with small business owners, institutions, RIAs, and large enterprise groups.
  • Willingness to travel nationally, exceeding 50% of the time.
